When my daughter was about eighteen months old, I lost her at church.  She went missing for a full fifteen minutes until someone found her walking alone down an empty hallway.  As she was placed into my arms all smiley and talkative I remember thinking to myself, “this child should wear a cowbell.”

Well, apparently I’m not the only one who thought an adventurous little toddler might be well equipped with some sort of tracking device.  The fun folks at Weesqueak created one that is not only functional but on the edge of kiddy high fashion as well.  Check out their adorable line of shoes that squeak when you walk!  Not only do these funny squeakers let parents know where their children are at all times, but they also help to teach little ones to walk by rewarding them with a silly noise!  My toddler son marched around giggling hysterically for over a half an hour when we first tried them on.

And in case you were wondering, the squeaker can be removed by an adult for those days when you don’t need to squeak.  You’ll be left with a silent pair of the cutest shoes at the play date!
