With Labor Day approaching, I can’t help but think of all my soon-to-be mommy friends that just might be celebrating Labor Day by, well, going into labor! Has anyone heard of the new trend of ‘push’ presents? I’m not too keen on calling it a ‘push’ present - but I am keen on the idea of getting a gift in celebration of all the work that goes into having a baby…bring on the ‘push’ present!

The fabulous Make Your Own jewelry from Luxe Design would make the perfect ‘push’ present this Labor Day. Of course, you don’t have to be expecting a baby to want to get your hands on one of these beautiful designs. I’m going to design a necklace with both of my children’s names and a special one for my hubby - oh, and I love the bird charm too! What will you design?

I love the charm bracelet! When I was a child I had a charm bracelet that my Step Grandma had given to me. I wore it all the time. I still have it, put away in a safe place.

It just couldn’t stop looking at all the charms. I already have some sayings in my head…like “The Joy of Motherhood Comes in Moments” — I would love to get a charm with that on it and then get a charm for each child I have (which is currently only one, but I could add on as I have more kids). Ahhh! So many choices! If it was for me I would get a kitty charm, a happy face, an oak leaf, a butterfly, and “this is me” charm. If I was generous I would get one for my sister with an open leaf, a heart, July birthstone, August birthstone, a “C”, and a “T.” I think. The combos seem endless!

I’ve been looking for a way to help my sister to keep the memory of her daughter. Lucy was stillborn at 39 weeks. The charms from Luxe Design that I would love to put on this necklace are the Custom Long Word Charm with the word “Serenity”, The Silver Stick, The Chain Charm and Turquoise Quartz Charm. I have always loved the word and meaning behind Serenity. It is beautiful, peaceful, calming, and inspiring to me. I need this with 3 young children! I would love to keep this word and all its significance close to my heart!

My oldest is starting school in a week and I’ve been looking for something just like this for her. I think she would be just thrilled with the dream star, her birthstone, and her initial.
