Peek of the Week: Project Pink

“Don’t Duck a Breast Exam!” That’s the message the good folks over at Munchkin are sending with their amazing Project Pink. Celebrities are getting in on the action – decorating Munchkin’s Limited Edition Pink Bath Ducks, which are being auctioned on eBay to raise money for a cure.
There’s also an array of Munchkin Pink Ducks parading throughout the Internet these days, all in an effort to raise breast cancer awareness. Have you sent your pink duck yet?
It’s easy to get involved with Munchkin’s Project Pink.
Email a Duck, Raise a Buck
To email a duck, visit Munchkin’s Project Pink page. You can then dress up your computer-generated duck – make it sassy, chic, funky or frilly using the dozens of accessories available. Then email your new creation to a bunch of friends. For each person that opens your email, Munchkin will donate $0.05 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure to help in the fight against breast cancer.
Buy Your Own Duck
Want your own fabulous pink duck? Purchase one here. Munchkin is donating 100% of the net proceeds from the sale of their pink ducks to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation.
Buy a Celebrity Duck
Munchkin enlisted the support of a diverse group of celebrities to sign and decorate Munchkin’s limited edition pink bath ducks and are auctioning them on eBay through October. All auction proceeds benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
In previous years, Project Pink has raised over $30,000 through the combination of the celebrity duck eBay auction and sale of more than 70,000 pink ducks to consumers nationwide.
Visit the Project Pink eBay Store to bid on your favorite celebrity duck.
