Must Read: Rookie Moms Handbook
Seriously, where was this book when I was a Rookie Mom? At least I had the Rookie Moms website – which I joyously discovered about half way through my rookie year.
The Rookie Moms Handbook was a result of the website’s tremendous popularity and there’s good reason this site is so darn popular with new mamas.
For those of us who have made it through that first year and lived to tell about it – we all can relate to the moments of extreme boredom and dare I even say, loneliness. Becoming a mother is the most rewarding thing that has ever happened to me, but man, that first year – it’s definitely a paradigm shift!
The rookie moms serve up endless activities for moms to do with and without their little one in tow. Heather and Whitney, the moms behind the website and the handbook, are funny, inspiring, and most definitely hip moms!
Even though I’m now a mama of two, the Rookie Moms Handbook was a motivational kick in the butt for me. It will urge you to try new things, get out and play, and to truly enjoy and cherish every moment with your precious babies.
If you are about to become a rookie mom you owe it to yourself to pick up a copy of this book. Or if there’s a soon-to-be rookie mom in your circle of friends, be sure she gets a copy. Heck, I think all moms need a copy of this fabulous book, no matter how many years in you are!
Check out the Rookie Moms website to purchase your copy as well as explore the hundreds of activities featured on their site.
