Happy Chickadee
As I changed the calendar from October to November, I realized that our sunny days in the northwest were numbered, and these chilly mornings aren’t going to warm up into nice afternoons much longer. A package from Happy Chickadee arrived just in time to ward off the “All We Got is Grey Days” blues.
Beneath a veil of bright pink tissue paper and a giant silk flower was a cute little box that I recognized from all of the cupcake bakeries that have popped up all over Seattle. My heart jumped at the idea of a sweet treat. There was no baked goodie hidden inside. Instead there was a lovely hand-made goodie. A cupcake beanie, complete with hand-knotted sprinkles and a cherry-red pom pom. This delectable little accessory is just the beginning of the bright and cheerful girly things carried at HappyChickadee.com. The site is packed full of wonderful brands and is very easy to navigate either by label, age, or price range. I didn’t think it was possible, but the cupcake hat by Yellow Label Kids is even cuter on than it is in the box. Winter won’t last forever, so it’s a good thing I know just where to look for cute sun dresses when our warm weather returns. Thanks to the ladies at Happy Chickadee for wrangling up all these great finds into one place!
