Every woman knows that handbags are as important as shoes and oxygen, but something happens when you become a mother. You no longer get to choose the posh, cute bags all your child-less friends are picking up, because lugging around an enormous diaper bag, a stroller and a baby just makes carrying an extra bag around a pain in the neck. Literally.

The ladies at My Royal Heinie have come to the rescue with their diaper purses and wallets. All the diapers and wipes you need, none of the extra stuff you don’t. Not only are they the perfect size, they come in cute colors to match. No blocks or teddy bears here. During a recent outing with a single friend of mine, she actually volunteered to help me carry my bag, since it doesn’t look like a diaper bag and wouldn’t interfere with her schmoozing.

The colors are great and the bags are small, but I think my favorite part is on the inside. It always seems like if you buy the travel packs for wipes, they disappear, and if you buy the bulk packs they don’t fit in anything. My Royal Heinie bags have a zippered wipe compartment that holds a pretty hefty load of wipes while still leaving room for about six diapers. They dispense right out of the front. Since I usually only have one hand to fish for things in purses, I also appreciate the compartments and zippered pockets. There are even hooks to attach the bag to the back of strollers. Brilliant.
