Belle Baby Carrier

Belle Baby Carrier

I first heard about the Belle Baby Carrier from my cousin, Kelly. Kelly is an Occupational Therapist so she knows a lot about what is good and bad for our bodies. When her baby needed a carrier Kelly did some research. She and her husband both felt the most comfortable with the Belle Baby Carrier. According to her glowing reports they haven’t regretted their choice.

My younger son, Spencer, is three months younger than Kelly’s daughter. I had tried a couple of carriers with my older son without much luck. For me, they seemed a little too bulky and uncomfortable. Neither baby nor I could get the hang of it. I wasn’t planning to use a carrier for Spencer but after hearing how much Kelly loves her Belle Baby Carrier I wanted to give it a try.

The first thing I noticed when mine arrived was how beautiful it is. I got the Orange Blossom print and was very impressed with the workmanship. Also, the Belle is incredibly lightweight, bulk free and slim lined. It took me a few tries to figure it out but, to be honest, I am not a coordinated person at all. To use the Belle you secure the waist belt, position the baby near your chest, put one strap over your shoulder at a time and reach behind your back to find the strap and bring it across the other side of your back to clip it. This was the part that sometimes tripped me up. Once I got the hang of it however I was able to do it quickly and, even better, all on my own.

The Belle has several features that make it a great carrier. It distributes the weight of your child to your hips which helps support his developing spine. Tightening of the waist belt determines whether your baby rides higher or lower on your body. The Belle allows your baby to face either forward or backward. These features make for a comfortable baby wearing experience that both Spencer and I enjoy!
