OBAMA: The Historic Journey
I will never forget the night of the 2008 Presidential Election when Barack Obama was announced as the next President of the United States. I watched with tears streaming down my face as he gave his eloquent speech. It was amazing to watch this moment in history and I can’t wait to tell my children about it someday.

While my babies are too little to understand what it means to be President (my son does know that Obama, or O-mama as he calls him, is the President) I am certain he will be the subject of many a school report when they get older. So I’m so glad we have this informative book, “OBAMA: The Historic Journey” compiled by The New York Times and suitable for young readers ages 8-12 (an adult version of the book is also available).
This beautiful book is coffee table worthy, brimming with amazing photographs of Obama, Michelle, and their lovely daughters. It shares the history of Obama from his early years growing up to his historic run for Presidency. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and love knowing that this wonderful book is now a part of our family library.
A great read for kids young and old! Available at Amazon.
